Guided by our mission our services motivate, challenge and inspire young people to achieve their potential. We strive to forge working relationships with young people and our services endeavour to enhance their overall well being. |
We believe that skills development is a very important programme here at Newcastle YMCA, this is not only for our staff but also for our volunteers. Volunteers play a vital role in the delivery of our services and take part in number of our activites eg: recurring annual events like our sailing trip, and regular community events. |

Congratulations to the Y-Eat group. Winners of a national award for delivering success. To find out more click here. An enlightening and inspiring day was had at the opening and blessing of the latest distribution depot of the North Shields Food Bank on the Tyne Tunnel Industrial Estate. Newcastle upon Tyne YMCA would like to thank Albert Whiting, Hari Shukla and the board of trustees of the Charity ‘Angels of the North’ for their kind invite - an enjoyable day was had by all.

Everyone at Newcastle YMCA would like to thank the students from Newcastle University, and the Royal Grammer School for "Sleeping Rough" as part of a sponsored event to raise funds for our homelessness prevention work.
